New features: Slide duration, manual publishing and filters

We're always working to give you more control over your Digital Signage — and today we're excited to share three new features that do exactly that. Whether you're fine-tuning how long each message stays on screen or taking a more hands-on approach to what gets displayed, these updates put you firmly in the driver's seat.

Custom slide duration

Setting the duration per slide is now a reality. Previously, all slides in a playlist would display for the same amount of time — but not every piece of content deserves equal airtime. A simple announcement might only need a few seconds, while a detailed promotion or menu board may need longer to be fully read and absorbed.

With custom slide duration, you can select any individual slide and choose exactly how long, in seconds, you'd like it to remain on screen. Your display will then automatically move on to the next slide when the time runs out no manual intervention needed. It's a small change that makes a big difference, ensuring that each message gets precisely the visibility it deserves.

Manual publishing & Filters

Our new Manual Publishing function gives you full control over what content from your integrations actually makes it to your screens. Instead of everything being published automatically, you can now hand-pick exactly which posts or media you want to display. It's ideal for businesses that want to maintain a higher level of curation without losing the convenience of connected integrations.

Prefer to keep automatic publishing enabled but only want certain content to come through? That's where Filters come in. Simply add a specific tag to the posts you want displayed, and Mirror will automatically find and surface them for you. It's a powerful combination, the efficiency of automation with the precision of manual selection.
