What is Mirror?
Mirror is a cloud-based digital signage platform built specifically for Apple TV. It lets you display images, videos, playlists and Rive animations on any screen connected to an Apple TV (4th generation or later), and manage everything remotely from the Mirror Portal.
What do I need to run Mirror?
You need an Apple TV (4th generation or later), a screen or TV with HDMI input, and an internet connection. Install the free Mirror app from the tvOS App Store, create an account at portal.mirrorsignage.io, and you're ready to go. (Please refer to our documentation for more details on compability)
Do you install hardware?
No, Mirror is a software-only product. You buy an Apple TV from Apple or any electronics retailer, connect it to your screen, and install the Mirror app yourself. Setup takes about five minutes per device. For larger fleet rollouts, contact support@mirrorsignage.io for MDM-based deployment guidance.
Why is my bill higher than the monthly rate?
Your bill may be higher due to VAT or local taxes added at checkout, multiple screens (pricing is per screen), or prorated plan upgrades. If you think there's a mistake, email support@mirrorsignage.io with your invoice number.
Why can´t I select things on my Apple TV?
Not being able to select things, i.e. press buttons on your Apple TV can be related to the remote control not being charged. Navigating, up, down and sideways may still work on your Apple TV. Charge your remote and try again.
Do I need a credit card to create an account?
No. You can sign up and start a free trial without entering any payment details. You'll only be asked for a payment method when you decide to activate a paid plan.
What payments methods do you support?
Mirror accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed securely through our payment provider. For annual invoicing, contact us directly at support@mirrorsignage.io.
Why does Mirror not play my entire Rive-animation?
Even if the Rive-animation is set to be 10 seconds long in the timeline it can be that the animation ends abruptly before 10 seconds has passed. The Rive animation exported will only be as long as the position of the last key-frame or animation point. If you have a ey-frame on 10 seconds int the timeline it will be exported as a 10 seconds animation.
